The World Championship continues and, after an intense weekend in Indianapolis, the Avant Tecno KTM team travels directly to the Czech Republic to continue the fight onboard the KTM Moto3 machine. Niklas Ajo, eleventh last Sunday after making up thirteen positions, wants to continue to improve and move up into the top 10. Fourteenth in the overall standings, the young Finn has accumulated a total of 37 points from nine races –3 points fewer than those achieved in the whole of last season.
Improving in practice on Friday and Saturday will be the first objective for the Avant Tecno KTM rider, who wants to start higher up the grid on race day. At the Czech track of Brno, Niklas Ajo has raced just once before –in his rookie season. Then he failed to finish, after a crash on Turn 3 of the opening lap. This is a chance for him to erase that bad memory with a good result.
As is customary at most European rounds, the action at Brno begins on Friday with free practice, with the tenth race of the season taking place on Sunday –14.30h–.

”I like Brno a lot. Last year I couldn’t take part in the race, so this year I am really eager to ride there. It is a very wide track –15 metres– and very fast. There are no slow corners, which means you have to push hard when cornering to take fast times and break away from your rivals. The aim once again this weekend will be to finish in the top ten. Qualifying will be key, as a bad qualifying position made things difficult at Indianapolis –even though things worked out ok.”
